How we work with Claude at our agency: 5 workflows
Saying "we use AI" is easy; explaining how you use it is harder. In this post we share openly which tasks our team uses Anthropic's Claude model for in day-to-day work, and the rules we follow. If you want to start using AI in your own team, it can also serve as a starting point.
Rules first
1. Brand voice guide
When we start working with a new client, we ask Claude to summarise the brand's tone based on its existing website, social media posts and our meeting notes with the client. We then refine the draft together with the client and turn it into a one-page guide: form of address, words to avoid, sample sentences. This guide sits at the top of the prompt for everything we produce afterwards.
2. Ad copy variations
From a single approved core message, we produce headline and description variations for Google Ads, and primary text and headline variations for Meta. A sample prompt:
Our team picks the best options from the list, edits them and adds them to the campaign. The ad platform's data decides which one wins.
3. SEO content outline
For a blog post or service page, we first clarify the search intent: what does the user want to know when they make this search? We give Claude the topic, the target audience and the heading structure of competing pages to produce a content outline. Our editor writes the draft; where needed, the client's subject-matter expert signs off on technical accuracy.
4. Monthly social media plan
At the start of each month, we ask Claude for 30–40 content ideas that take into account the brand's campaigns, the season and special days, then filter them by content pillar and turn them into a calendar of 12–20 posts. Our design team produces the visuals and videos; Claude works only on copy, scripts and briefs.
5. Plain-language report summaries
We have Claude summarise the aggregate data (containing no personal data) we pull from GA4, ad platforms and social media dashboards: "What changed this month, what might be behind it, and what should we try next month?" Our specialist reviews the summary and adds it to the report that goes to the client. That way, even managers who don't have time to read reports can see where things stand in a single paragraph.
Where we don't use it
- We don't auto-reply to comments or messages.
- In crisis communications, a human writes the first draft.
- We never enter personal data such as customer lists, phone numbers or email addresses into any AI tool.
If you'd like to set up a similar system for your own team, we also offer hands-on team training on using Claude.
